Commercial Sponsors of AHRMIO

AHRMIO is dedicated to collaborating with leading private sector firms in order that its members may be introduced to the latest developments in HR management and related fields. AHRMIO in return provides its commercial partners with a gateway to a large network of not-for-profit organizations, allowing them to showcase their products and services at conferences and seminars. Foundations or commercial bodies with a focus on HRM may also become sponsors.

For further information, if your company is interested in becoming a partner, see the end of this section.

Current Commercial Sponsors

  • Allianz Worldwide Care Ltd
  • GMC Services
  • Monster Worldwide
  • International SOS
  • ORC Worldwide (MERCER Group)
  • UNIQA
  • Vanbreda International

Concept

The concept of sponsorship has evolved over the years and the current sponsors, as well as the AHRMIO Advisory Council and Board, feel that the strict “return for investment” approach is no longer appropriate; rather, they envisage sponsorship more in terms of ongoing partnership, i.e. as a collaborative, more philanthropic arrangement for the benefit of both the sponsor and the Association. Hence, we no longer say that it costs a minimum annual amount to become a sponsor, but rather that we would expect this amount in some form to be a minimum contribution in cash or in kind, such as, for example, Monster’s contribution for the Association’s website.

Benefits

Sponsors receive the following benefits:

They have access to the key HR decision makers in AHRMIO’s member organizations (currently +80). This gives them a special understanding of the unique challenges facing the leading organizations of the international not-for-profit world.

  • They have access to the Members Only sector of the Association’s website.
  • They receive the Association’s mailing list.
  • They have the opportunity to distribute promotional material to AHRMIO member organizations.
  • They participate as non-voting members of the Advisory Council.
  • They attend and put up booths or stands at the Annual Conference.
  • They have their logo on the Association’s website and in other publications.
  • They may underwrite and organize, at their own expense, seminars, training events or other activities in their area of expertise for the membership.

What sponsorship is not:

Sponsorship does not grant exclusivity in respect of the area of work or specialty of the sponsor.
Sponsorship does not provide an opportunity for “hard selling” to AHRMIO members. In our experience a “hard sell” approach is unlikely to be either productive or seen favourably by the members.
